The joystick grip handle is a molded piece of hard plastic mounted on the joystick's rod. This is the manipulated part of the input device. The handle can be a simple cylindrical shape or an ergonomically designed grip. The grip usually has a single button on the top, but more complex handles can have as many as half a dozen buttons.
